We work with local governments and non-profit organizations to promote energy efficiency, and demand response and conservation programs, services and resources; and provide energy education and outreach to our communities. Here are just a few of our success stories:

City of Chula Vista Partnership

The Energy Efficiency and Conservation Outreach program is being offered by SDG&E and the City of Chula Vista.

The ECO Program aims to enable the City, its residents, developers, and neighboring communities to implement energy efficiency and conservation measures by overcoming existing barriers through education, outreach, and incentives.

City of San Diego Partnership

The City of San Diego and SDG&E are working together to promote energy efficiency and conservation to the city's employees, residents, and local businesses. We’re also developing an education and outreach program with other local governments.

County of San Diego Partnership

The County of San Diego/SDG&E Energy Initiative Partnership aims to inform, educate, and implement energy efficiency practices to the county’s employees, businesses, residents and other entities within the County of San Diego.

In addition, the County is expanding programs such as the fluorescent light recycling, the Green Business program, energy retrofit study, and the Green Building program.

San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) Partnership

A vital force behind San Diego’s regional implementation of the California Energy Efficiency Strategic Plan, the San Diego Association of Governments leveraged its partnership with SDG&E to provide innovative energy assessments to its member municipalities. Now a statewide prototype, SANDAG’s comprehensive Energy Roadmap provides user-friendly navigation and a one-stop shop for local governments seeking to fuel their sustainability efforts.

SEEC Partnership

The Statewide Energy Efficiency Collaborative (SEEC) provides support to cities and counties to help them reduce greenhouse gas emissions and save energy. SEEC is an alliance between three statewide non-profit organizations and California’s four investor-owned utilities (SDG&E, Pacific Gas and Electric, Southern California Edison, and Southern California Gas Company).

Unified Port of San Diego Partnership

We're working with the Unified Port of San Diego to enhance the  capacity to incorporate energy efficiency throughout the Port District.

Together, we’re supporting Port tenants and surrounding communities with the goal of achieving a greater and long-lasting reduction in energy usage.
