Scott B. Crider is president of San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E), one of Sempra’s regulated California utilities. He leads corporate functions focused on advancing the company’s efforts in providing clean, safe and reliable energy. Crider joined the Sempra family of companies in 2002, holding several leadership roles over the years including chief customer officer, senior vice president of external affairs and operations support and vice president of federal affairs. He also served in electric pricing and forecasting, supply management, supplier diversity, logistics, fleet, real estate, land services and facilities.   

Kevin Geraghty is chief operating officer and chief safety officer of San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E), one of Sempra’s regulated California utilities. He is responsible for the safe and reliable engineering, construction, emergency operations, supply chain, customer service, operations and maintenance of the company’s resources. Geraghty has been in the gas and electric utility business for more than 35 years. He is a board member of the San Diego Habitat for Humanity, The Building Industry Association of San Diego and the Association of Edison Illuminating Companies. 

Valerie Bille is senior vice president and chief financial officer for San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) and Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas), Sempra’s regulated California utilities. She leads accounting and finance, treasury, planning and business strategy functions for both utilities. Previously, Bille was senior vice president, chief financial officer, chief accounting officer, controller and treasurer for SDG&E. Since joining the Sempra family of companies in 2014, Bille has held the assistant controller position for both SDG&E and Sempra with increasing responsibilities, primarily in the accounting and finance organizations.

Rob Borthwick is senior vice president and general counsel for San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) and Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas), Sempra's regulated California utilities. Borthwick provides leadership over the legal, risk and compliance functions at both utilities. Previously, he was Sempra’s chief risk officer overseeing the organization’s compliance, risk management, sustainability, corporate security and cybersecurity efforts. His extensive knowledge of Sempra’s business and operations enabled him to provide sound, strategic counsel to mitigate risk and drive strong business outcomes. During his tenure with the Sempra family of companies, Borthwick served in various leadership roles across Sempra’s three growth platforms.

Sabina Clorfeine is vice president and deputy general counsel – regulatory for San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) and Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas), Sempra's regulated California utilities. In this role she provides legal guidance and strategic alignment for regulatory legal matters across both utilities. Clorfeine has been with the Sempra family of companies for 18 years. During that time, she has held roles of increasing responsibility throughout the enterprise, including as assistant general counsel - regulatory and assistant general counsel - litigation and environmental at SoCalGas.

Brian D’Agostino is vice president of wildfire and climate science at San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E), one of Sempra’s regulated California utilities. He is responsible for emergency management, wildfire mitigation, situational awareness, weather forecasting and climate adaptation initiatives. D’Agostino joined SDG&E in 2009 and oversaw the development of SDG&E’s meteorology program, one of the nation’s most sophisticated forecasting teams. 

Dana Golan is chief customer officer at San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E), one of Sempra’s regulated California utilities. She oversees all customer-related activities including customer services, digital channel management and strategy, field and meter operations, customer programs, business services and revenue cycle activities. Since joining the Sempra family of companies in 2004, Golan has held numerous leadership positions in customer pricing, marketing, education and outreach, investor relations and executive project management. 

Ben Gordon is senior vice president, chief information officer and chief digital officer at San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E), Sempra’s regulated California utilities. He oversees information and digital technologies, including cybersecurity and big data analytics. Gordon previously served as vice president, technology operations and infrastructure management.  

Christy Ihrig is senior vice president, communications and stakeholder engagement for San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) and Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas), Sempra's regulated California utilities. Ihrig oversees internal and external communications, community relations and regional public and customer affairs for both Sempra-regulated utilities. Previously, Ihrig was vice president, corporate relations for Sempra with responsibility for the company’s corporate communications, brand and corporate citizenship functions. Ihrig also led Sempra’s corporate giving strategy, along with political reporting and compliance. She has a wealth of industry expertise and has held leadership positions across the Sempra family of companies.

John Jenkins is vice president of electric operations at San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E), one of Sempra’s regulated California utilities. He is responsible for the construction, maintenance, and operation of the electric grid, including distribution, transmission, and substation infrastructure. Previously, Jenkins was vice president of electric engineering and construction, overseeing all engineering functions. He is a Board Member of the American Red Cross chapter for San Diego/Imperial Counties. 

Jennifer Jett is vice president of operations support and chief environmental officer at San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E), one of Sempra’s regulated California utilities. She oversees supply management, supplier diversity, materials and logistics, land, real estate, environmental, fleet, facilities, and tribal relations. Over the past 20 years, Jett has held various legal, financial and operational positions of increasing responsibility within the Sempra family of companies. 

Kent Kauss is regional vice president of external relations at San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E), one of Sempra’s regulated California utilities. Before joining SDG&E, Kauss was a senior director and chief lobbyist, where he led the state government relations function, including the development and strategy of legislative policy. Kauss sits on the boards of the VetFund Foundation, CalAsian Chamber of Commerce, CA Business Properties Association, CA Retailers Association and CA Building Industry.  

Erbin Keith is senior vice president and strategic counsel at San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E), one of Sempra’s regulated California utilities. Keith has held various positions with the Sempra family of companies since 1994, including senior vice president, general counsel at SDG&E and general counsel for various Sempra operating companies. He also previously served as deputy general counsel, chief regulatory officer, chief risk and compliance officer and senior vice president of external affairs.

Chris Lyons is vice president and deputy general counsel, litigation, for San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) and Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas), Sempra's regulated California utilities. He leads the litigation departments for both utilities, overseeing strategy and case management across a wide range of matters. Lyons joined SDG&E in 2014, where he handled federal and state regulatory matters, California wildfire issues, and litigation. He later served at Sempra, overseeing regulatory, litigation and labor and employment matters.

Jawaad Malik is senior vice president, strategy and financial planning and treasurer for San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) and Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas), Sempra's regulated California utilities. He leads the financial planning teams and strategy functions for both Sempra regulated utilities. Since joining SoCalGas in 2007, Malik has served in increasingly responsible management positions including senior vice president, strategy and sustainability. In this role he was responsible for the development of a comprehensive strategy and sustainability plan to position SoCalGas as a long-term leader supporting California's decarbonization goals. Malik has also served as SoCalGas’ chief strategy and sustainability officer, vice president of gas acquisition, vice president of accounting and finance and director of financial and operations planning.

Maritza Mekitarian is vice president, chief accounting officer and controller for San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E), one of Sempra’s regulated California utilities. She is responsible for the strategic leadership and oversight of SDG&E’s accounting, financial reporting and governance of internal controls. Previously, Mekitarian served as senior director of accounting and assistant controller and director of financial planning at SDG&E. During her time with the Sempra family of companies, Mekitarian has held numerous roles in the accounting and finance departments.

Eugene "Mitch" Mitchell is senior vice president, chief legislative officer of San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) and the Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas), Sempra’s regulated California utilities. He oversees state legislative activities and helps advance the California utilities' strategic policy objectives. Mitchell has held various senior executive roles, including Sempra's senior vice president, diversity, and community partnerships where he advanced the company's high-performance culture by leading a collective effort to enhance diversity and inclusion within Sempra, its operating companies and in the communities it serves. He also served as vice president of state governmental and external affairs for SDG&E and SoCalGas. 

Deana Ng is vice president, chief risk officer and chief compliance officer for San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) and Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas), Sempra's regulated California utilities. In this role, Ng provides leadership over risk and compliance functions at both utilities. Ng joined SoCalGas in 2011 as a senior regulatory attorney and has held roles of increasing responsibility in legal and operations, including serving as SoCalGas’ director of major programs and project controls.

Janette Piankoff is vice president of people and culture at San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E), one of Sempra’s regulated California utilities. She develops and manages human resource strategies, employee inclusion programs, organizational effectiveness, labor relations and talent acquisition. Piankoff previously set strategy and priorities in support of overall business objectives surrounding leadership assessment and development, organization design and employee learning and development. 

Adam Pierce is vice president of energy procurement and rates at San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E), one of Sempra’s regulated California utilities. He is responsible for electric and fuel procurement, electric pricing, and electric forecasting. Since joining the Sempra family of companies in 2012, he has held various roles, supporting mergers and acquisitions, business development, and investor relations. Pierce most recently served as SDG&E’s director of customer pricing. He also serves on the advisory board for San Diego State University's Fowler College of Business School of Management. 

April Robinson is vice president and deputy general counsel – commercial and environmental for San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) and Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas), Sempra's regulated California utilities. Previously, Robinson was chief risk and compliance officer at SDG&E, where she led SDG&E’s enterprise and energy risk management, compliance, sustainability, environmental services and nuclear decommissioning functions. Robinson also previously held the role of vice president, governance and corporate secretary at Sempra. During her time with the Sempra family of companies, Robinson has served in numerous leadership roles in the legal department.

Miguel Romero is senior vice president and chief commercial officer at San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E), one of Sempra’s regulated California utilities. He oversees commercial growth initiatives and clean energy strategies. Romero joined the Sempra family of companies in 2004 and has held various roles, including vice president of energy innovation and vice president of energy supply. He serves on the boards of Veloz and Clean Tech San Diego. 

Warren Ruis is vice president, procurement for San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) and Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas), Sempra’s regulated California utilities. He oversees supply management, logistics and responsible sourcing at both utilities and has extensive experience in supply chain, risk management, and community engagement. Since joining the Sempra family of companies in 2006, he has held leadership positions in supply management, community relations, insurance and public affairs. Warren has served on multiple community boards of directors and is currently a board member and long-time volunteer for the Make A Wish Foundation of San Diego County and California Coast Credit Union.

Michael Schneider is senior vice president and chief transformation officer for San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) and Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas), Sempra’s regulated California utilities. Schneider leads business transformation efforts at both utilities. Previously, he was senior vice president and chief transformation officer at SDG&E. Schneider joined SDG&E in 1992 and has held leadership roles in customer service, regulatory, operations, environmental risk and finance.

Shivani Sidhar is vice president, regulatory affairs for San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) and the Southern California Gas Company (SoCalGas), Sempra's regulated California utilities. Sidhar oversees the company’s San Francisco office and serves as a primary point of contact with the California Public Utilities Commission on behalf of SDG&E and SoCalGas in connection with all regulatory matters. Previously, Shivani worked for SDG&E in various legal and regulatory management roles. She has worked at Uber Technologies, and the California Public Utilities Commission.

Dan Skopec is senior vice president and chief regulatory officer for San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) and the Southern California Gas Company, Sempra's regulated California utilities. He is responsible for the company’s engagement with the California Public Utilities Commission and the strategic planning organization. Skopec joined SDG&E and SoCalGas in 2008 as vice president, regulatory affairs after serving as undersecretary at the California Environmental Protection Agency, deputy cabinet secretary under California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, and as a legislative aide in the U.S. House of Representatives. 

Will Speer is vice president of electric engineering and construction at San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E), one of Sempra’s regulated California utilities. He is responsible for the long-term planning of the transmission and distribution system, engineering, management of major projects, construction and vegetation management services, and distribution project management. Speer is a licensed professional engineer. He joined SDG&E in 1999 and has held numerous engineering and management positions.

Brittany Applestein Syz is vice president of external affairs and communications at San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E), one of Sempra’s regulated California utilities. She leads public affairs, community relations, marketing and communications efforts. Previously, Syz held leadership roles overseeing environmental services, sustainability, and clean transportation at SDG&E. Prior to that, she was a lawyer for the company. She is a board member for Casa Cornelia Law Center and the San Diego International Airport Advisory Committee and sits on a committee of the San Diego Chamber of Commerce. 

Tashonda Taylor is vice president of gas operations at San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E), one of Sempra’s regulated California utilities. She oversees all gas distribution and transmission operations as well as execution and construction of capital programs to enhance the safety, reliability, and integrity of the gas pipeline system. Taylor began her career with SDG&E over 25 years ago as an electrical engineer. She currently serves as a board member of the Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank and is a lifetime member of the National Society of Black Engineers.
