If you’ve ever overlooked a utility bill or shut-off notice – or you know someone who has – try our Third Party Notification Plan. This free plan could help prevent loss of energy service for you or someone you know who is elderly, sick, homebound or often away.
Here’s how it works
- You choose a third party, such as a friend, relative, caregiver or community agency.
- Both of you sign the application.
- Anytime we send you a late-payment or shut-off notice, we’ll also send a copy to your designated third party.
- The third party can then bring the problem to your attention, and may offer aid or advice, but is not responsible for paying your bill.
The plan will remain in effect for as long as we serve you or until we receive a request to stop. Please notify us of any address changes or new choice of a third party.
