How You’re Billed with NEM
Once you go solar you'll get two separate bills:
One for natural gas usage
One for electricity
Your electric bill will have charges for any electricity you use beyond what's produced by your system as well as a minimum monthly charge (if applicable). Your gas bill will be still be due in full each month, but you can choose what you pay toward your monthly electric bill. Pay as much or as little as you want each month as long as your annual energy charges are paid in full by your anniversary date.
However, if you don't plan to pay your bill in full every month, don't forget to stop any automatic monthly debit payment associated with your account or you'll continue to see those charges. Preparing the Grid for a Hotter Than Normal Summer
We are several weeks into summer, and the weather is already shaping up to be like last summer – one of the hottest on record. If you look at NOAA’s nationwide weather forecast through August, you’ll see a heat map of our country covered almost entirely in shades of red, orange and gold. The colors indicate anywhere from 33% to 80% probability that summer temperatures will be higher than normal. Texas has already experienced sustained hot temperatures throughout June and early July that triggered high demand for electricity and the real threat of rolling blackouts.

Letter of Authorization (LOA)
A Letter of Authorization (or LOA) provides you, the customer, a mechanism to authorize us to disclose data with specified third parties. It may also authorize a third party to act on your behalf. Authorizations usually involve billing calculations, EPA benchmarking, correspondence in connection with accounts, investigation of utility bills, rate analysis and changes, etc.

Partnership Pilot
