Managing and paying your bill just got easier. We’ve made some important updates to My Energy Center to make managing your account easier, clearer and more convenient. You’ll now have a more transparent view of your bill, along with greater flexibility to make payments by energy provider, method, date or amount to match your unique preferences.

Understand your bill with greater clarity

We’ve made it easier for you to understand exactly what makes up your bill and who you are paying so you can manage your energy bill with confidence.

For customers whose electricity is generated by a Choice Aggregator (CCA) and delivered by SDG&E, your new homepage now clearly separates CCA and SDG&E charges, along with your total amount due.

For customers who receive both their electric generation and delivery from SDG&E, you’ll notice a more streamlined, intuitive view that makes it easier to understand your charges.

Additionally, you can now quickly view, download and save your bill with just one click. All the same details on your paper bill are available in My Energy Center, anytime.

Want more detail? The new Your Charges Breakdown  page presents your charges in a clear, easy-to-read format, giving you transparency into your energy costs.

  • Make payments by energy provider, method, date or amount;
  • Schedule or manage payments anytime; and
  • Enjoy a seamless, secure transaction experience that fits your lifestyle.

Avoid surprises

If you’re a Net Energy Metering (NEM) customer who receives electric generation from a CCA and delivery from SDG&E, your updated homepage now shows your monthly charges and annual true-up balances. This helps you plan ahead, track credits and easily manage your energy budget.

My Energy Center is a secure, self-service portal where you can easily access your SDG&E and CCA account information in one place. You’ll also find helpful tools—like scheduling a gas appliance check or updating your address when you move—all with a more streamlined experience.

Visit MyEnergyCenter.com or download the mobile app. You can log in using your existing username and password or register for the first time if you’re a new user.

You can easily update your billing preferences anytime in My Energy Center.

To enroll in paperless billing:

  1. Log in to My Profile from My Energy Center
  2. On your profile page, scroll down to My Service Addresses
  3. Click Sign up under Paperless Billing
