As we approach the peak of wildfire season, an SDG&E priority is to ensure our customers are informed and prepared. If high-risk wildfire conditions threaten any portion of the electric system serving your community, it may be necessary, as a last resort, to turn off electricity to prevent a wildfire – this is a Public Safety Power Shutoff (PSPS).

We want to partner with you to help prepare for PSPS and other outages. Based on your response to a few brief questions, we will be able to give customized recommendations to help you and your loved ones prepare for outages.

Section 1

By providing your Account Number, SDG&E will provide personalized recommendations, including providing information on backup power solutions, local community resources, and information for customers with access and functional needs.
