Based on your input, you will be shown what apps best fit your need. In order to select an app you must be a registered user of My Account. If you need to register for My Account please click here (and proceed to Green Button Connect My Data once you are in). If you already have one please follow these steps:
- Select the criteria most important to you
- Hit Search and wait for the results
- Once the results appear write down the name of the third party vendor
- Log into My Account and proceed to Green Button Connect My Data

Energy Consumption Survey (ECS) by Energy Information Administration (EIA)
The US Energy Information Administration (EIA) collects, analyzes and shares independent and impartial energy information to promote sound policymaking, efficient markets, public understanding of energy and its interaction with the economy and the environment. EIA provides a wide range of information and data products and prepares analyses and special reports on topics of current interest. This information is distributed on its website http://www.eia.gov.
EIA also administers the Residential Energy Consumption Survey (RECS) to a nationally representative sample of housing units. For the RECS, the EIA collects energy characteristics on the housing unit, usage patterns and household demographics. This information is combined with data from energy suppliers to estimate energy costs and usage for heating, cooling, appliances and other end uses.
