What is a WDAT Interconnection?
WDAT applies to all generating/storage facilities interconnecting to SDG&E’s Distribution System and selling at wholesale to the California Marketplace.
For interconnections of generating/storage facilities interconnecting to SDG&E’s Distribution System and selling only to SDG&E under Rule 21, refer to the Regla 21 .

WDAT Tariff Notices
As a result of FERC’s approval of SDG&E’s compliance filing on Order No. 2023, the next proposed available cluster application window for interconnection requests to the WDAT Cluster Study Process (that parallels that of the CAISO) will be October 1 – October 15, 2026. SDG&E will update this notice as needed to reflect any new information as it becomes available.
WDAT Cluster Application Window Notices
As a result of the CAISO and SDG&E compliance filings for FERC Order No. 2023, the next proposed available cluster application window for interconnection requests to the WDAT Cluster Study Process will be October 1 - October 15, 2026. SDG&E will update this notice when the new information is available.
