Resetting Breakers Safely

Lights Out? Appliances Silent? It Might Not Be a Power Outage. If your home suddenly goes dark or your appliances stop working—but the street lights are still glowing and your neighbor’s house is lit up—it’s likely not a power outage. The culprit could be a tripped circuit breaker. Good news: this is something you can often fix yourself in just a few minutes. Follow the steps below to safely check and reset your breakers and get your home powered back up.
