with EV Infrastructure Incentives & Rebates
Reducing operating costs and simplifying maintenance are objectives for any fleet operation. But for small business owners, these are the essentials of running a successful business. As part of our commitment to supporting small businesses and improving air quality in our local community, SDG&E’s Potencie su unidad para flotas program connects small businesses with resources and financial incentives to easily and cost-effectively design and install the charging infrastructure needed to power their medium- and heavy-duty electric fleets.

Improve Total Cost of Ownership
By transitioning to electric vehicles (EVs), small business fleets can reduce their total cost of ownership (TCO) with lowered maintenance costs and increased uptime. Upfront costs related to necessary electric vehicle charging equipment can be reduced even further with additional incentives available to small businesses.

Charger Rebates for Small Businesses in Disadvantaged Communities
Small businesses located in Comunidades Desfavorecidas are eligible for additional charger rebates of up to 50% of the costs to purchase charging stations.

* Eligible sites will receive a rebate for each qualified charger for the lesser of 50% of the cost of the charger or the maximum amount based on power output as detailed above not to exceed 50% of the cost of the charger.

Elegibilidad del programa
To be eligible to receive funding through SDG&E's Potencie su unidad para flotas program, small business fleets must first meet the four basic criteria below:
- Demonstrate commitment to procure a minimum of 2 electric fleet vehicles
- Demonstrate long-term electrification growth plan and schedule of load increase
- Provide data related to charger usage for a minimum of 5 years
- Own or lease the property where chargers are installed within SDG&E’s service area and operate and maintain vehicles and chargers for a minimum of 10 years
