How to Submit a Six‑Month Notice for Direct Access (DA)

STEP 1: Complete Required SDG&E Forms

Before submitting, ensure all required forms and documentation are complete.

Required for All Submissions

• Hoàn thành một Six‑Month Notice form per customer of record.

• All SDG&E service accounts listed must:
  • Belong to the same customer, and
  • Be under the same Federal Tax ID (FTI) or SDG&E customer identifier.

• If submitting two (2) or more service accounts, include a required bảng tính Excel.

If a Third Party Is Acting on the Customer’s Behalf

• A Customer Information Sharing Request / Letter of Authorization (CISR/LOA) is required unless the exception below applies. 

EXCEPTION: A CISR/LOA is not required if the Six‑Month Notice is signed by the customer AND the customer is copied on the DA lottery submission email. 

• CISR/LOAs must be submitted through the Consent to Share Portal:

  • To avoid delays, submit CISR/LOAs before the enrollment period.
