4 Ways to Save Money & Energy

  1. Enroll in the California Alternate Rates for Energy (CARE) Program: Provides a bill discount to eligible customers. Eligibility is based on current household income and the number of people living in the home.
  2. Enroll in the Family Electric Rate Assistance (FERA) Program: Provides income-qualified households of three or more with a reduced electric rate once their energy use reaches certain levels.
  3. Enroll in the Medical Baseline Program: Provides extra gas and electricity at the lowest rates for qualifying customers with medical needs who use an electric medical device.
  4. Enroll in the Energy Savings Assistance Program: Provides home upgrades designed to help lower energy use and monthly energy bills, while making your home more comfortable. Some services are even free!

Have you heard of Level Pay? It’s a great way to pay an average bill amount each month instead of actual charges.

Enroll in the Level Pay Plan: Know what your energy bill will be each month. Level Pay helps smooth out the ups and downs of your monthly energy bill by averaging annual energy use and costs during a 12-month period. Give it a try.
