Two-tiered Trade Professional Alliance structure

There are now two tiers of Trade Professionals.

Tier 1: Those with a California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) license. These contractors can apply for and receive payment on Rebate, Incentive and On-Bill Financing projects.

Tier 2: These Trade Professionals don’t have a CSLB license and aren’t able to receive payment on behalf of their customers. Learn more about obtaining a CSLB license on

Both tiers receive:

  1. Listing in the SDG&E online Trade Professional Directory
  2. Support from SDG&E Team who can help with
    1. Understanding guidelines and new program updates
    2. How to process rebates, incentives and OBF loan applications
    3. Inspection issues
  3. Ongoing seminars at The Energy Innovation Center
  4. Emails on latest program updates
  5. Bi-monthly Trade Professional newsletter

Trade Professionals who don’t hold a CSLB may still participate as a Project Sponsor and:

  • Submit projects on the customer’s behalf
  • Obtain project status updates via email or phone
  • Be listed on the project application as the Project Sponsor (but are not eligible to receive rebates and incentives on the customer’s behalf)

Onset HOBO MX1101 Temp/RH Data Logger (Tool #148)

The HOBO MX Temperature / RH Data Logger records and transmits temperature and relative humidity (RH) in indoor environments with its integrated sensors. This Bluetooth Smart-enabled logger is designed for wireless communication with Apple or Android mobile devices.

Using Onset's free HOBO mobile app, you can view data in graphs, check the operational status of loggers, configure alarm notifications, and share data files. The logger can calculate minimum, maximum, average, and standard deviation statistics and be configured to trip audible or visual alarms at thresholds you specify. The logger also supports burst logging in which data is logged at a different interval when sensor readings are above or below certain limits. This compact data logger also has a built-in LCD screen to display the current temperature, relative humidity, logging status, battery use, memory consumption, and more.
