Thank You for Making our Energy Expo a Hit!
Our 11th Annual Energy Showcase took place on June 10, 2016 at the San Diego Convention Center. This year’s Energy Showcase began with an awards breakfast where we honored eleven San Diego businesses as an “Energy Champion” for their investments in, and commitment to, sustainability and energy efficiency. To learn about the Energy Champions’ success stories, watch our videos.
The free Energy Showcase Expo that followed the awards ceremony highlighted the latest money-saving ideas for better energy performance with a focus on local businesses. This year, over 75 vendors displayed their energy-saving products, services and technologies. Attendees found an Energy Solutions Center where they could ask questions and learn more about how to save energy and lower their energy bills.
The Expo featured 20 alternative fuel vehicles where you could check out the latest hybrid and plug-in models, and learn more about our new “Power Your Drive” program.
Don’t miss out! Stay tuned for a Save-the-Date for the 2017 Energy Showcase scheduled for May 17.
Analyze Energy. Empower Action.
Our new Business Energy Advisor tool gives businesses the power to manage and analyze their energy use – which helps you make informed business decisions. Businesses can study how they use energy throughout a building and compare use to similar businesses. You can analyze historical usage and costs for a single or group of meters or billing accounts. You’ll receive targeted energy-saving recommendations, including our current rebates. This tool can track energy-efficiency initiatives and assess their effectiveness, too. First time users must register to access the tool. Find out if the businesses you work with qualify at sdge.com/BEA.

New Qualifying List for LED Products
New Qualifying List for LED Products
The Energy Efficiency Business Rebates Program discontinued use of the California Statewide Qualified LED Product List on June 6, 2016. Qualifying models shown on this previously used list will be honored through August 6, 2016, regardless of the utility designation under “Rebate Information”. To better serve both you and our business customers, we’re now using these three qualifying lists to identify eligible LED lighting products.
You may also contact us by email at [email protected] or call 1.800.644.6133 if you have any questions on qualifying products.
Electric Vehicle and Charging Station Initiative Rolls Out

With this new initiative, SDG&E will install, own, operate and maintain 3,500 charging stations at 350 apartment complexes, condominiums and workplaces throughout our service territory. Power Your Drive provides service provider and billing flexibility to property owners to fit their needs.
