Medium & Large Business** Customers are encouraged to call our Business Contact Center at 1-800-336-7343 to establish payment arrangements.

*Small Customers non-residential customers are defined as demand under 20kW monthly for 12 consecutive months, or annual usage is equal to or less than 40,000 kWh, or 10,000 therms annually during the period of March 2019 through February 2020.

Medium and large non-residential customers are defined as demand over 20kW monthly for 12 consecutive months, or annual usage is equal to or more than 40,000 kWh, or 10,000 therms annually during the period of March 2019 through February 2020.

Safety Guidelines for Outdoor Operations

Now more than ever, it’s important to do our part to keep our communities and the people and business within them safe. Keep these essential safety tips in mind if your business operates outdoors so you can do so safely, and without interfering with SDG&E’s ability to provide all customers with safe and reliable energy and service.​

  • Keep at least a 3-foot clearance from utility equipment at all times for readily available access in the event of an emergency or essential maintenance.
  • Do not place outdoor dining chairs, tables, parklets and other items on top of underground facilities, or block access to poles and other utility infrastructure.
  • If essential operation is required on any electrical facilities, a full 8-foot clearance will be required and all nearby equipment must be readily available to move by an SDG&E employee without any legal actions for damaging equipment owned by the establishment.
  • Outside of business hours, all business equipment must be clear of poles, pad-mounted equipment, and subsurface structures as normally identified in the case of emergency or scheduled work.
