Registration Now Open
Join SDG&E, our partner I Love a Clean San Diego and over 8,000 volunteers for San Diego’s largest county-wide clean up event on Saturday, Sept. 17. With more than 80 counties participating, Coastal Cleanup Day is a global movement.
From cleaning up beaches and waterways to trash and graffiti removal in neighborhoods, this event invites volunteers around the world to take waste reduction into their own hands.
In 2015, San Diego volunteers collected 94 tons of trash and recyclables. This year, I Love a Clean San Diego will host 100+ cleanup sites countywide. You can find a list of sites still in need of volunteers and register your group here.
Since 2002, SDG&E volunteers have removed 73,672 lbs. of trash as part of the annual Coastal Cleanup Day. This year, we anticipate 500 employee volunteers and their families converging on five locations throughout the San Diego County.
SDG&E and I Love a Clean San Diego want to encourage you, your family and friends to join us on September 17!
