If extreme heat poses a health risk for you or anyone in your home, sign up for advance, automated notification of mandated power outages.

If you are already enrolled in the Medical Baseline program, you do not need to sign up for this program as you will already receive notification of rotating power outages.
If you or someone you know is sick, elderly or may overlook a utility bill or shut off notice, you can prevent an unnecessary disruption in service by designating a friend, relative, caregiver or community agency to receive a copy of any late notices and service disconnection.
The plan will remain in effect for as long as we serve you or until we receive a request to discontinue.
Please notify SDG&E if you or the designated third-party move, or if you would like to designate a new third-party.
If you or someone you know has limited vision, an SDG&E service technician can make a home visit to mark range dials and thermostats to make them easier to use. You can also request to receive your SDG&E bill in Braille.
