This Partnership is the collaborative body and collective voice for 26 diverse arts, science, and cultural institutions in Balboa Park. Environmental sustainability is one of the Partnership's major initiatives.
The Balboa Park Cultural Partnership's Sustainability Program has developed a shared vision for greening Balboa Park. It continues to provide solutions to help protect Park resources and strengthen economic viability, while enhancing visitor experience and enjoyment.
The Sustainability Program is committed to best practices through:
Energy efficiency retrofits
Water conservation
Recycling
Reuse of durable goods
Green business practices
The Sustainability Program is supported by the partnership's member institutions, park stakeholders, the City of San Diego, and SDG&E®.
