SDG&E and the Living Coast Discovery Center have long shared a strong bond in their commitment to environmental education and natural resource conservation. In 2012, SDG&E is funding the Washed Ashore exhibit and its curriculum for students K-12, inspiring curiosity, life-long learning, environmental education, and conservation.
SDG&E’s support creates a stream of discussions and awareness that lead to active solutions in our region. The Living Coast Discovery Center is also a “green partner” that provides Smart Meter education to thousands of students annually. The Living Coast Discovery Center has been a valued regional resource for 24 years inspiring more than 15,000 students annually.
