SDG&E to hold energy-saving light fair at Kyocera Earth Expo, 4/19

On April 19, SDG&E is joining Kyocera as an exhibitor at its public Earth Expo event, and will offer a Light Fair for attendees to learn about energy-efficient lighting. The event will take place at San Diego’s largest Solar Grove™. SDG&E customers in attendance can visit the SDG&E booth to learn about energy management and how to take action to help the environment by taking advantage of SDG&E’s energy efficiency programs, services and tools.

At its light fairs, SDG&E demonstrates energy-efficient lighting and educates customers on lumens vs. wattage, color temperature, the lighting facts label and more. In addition, attendees have an opportunity to purchase lighting products at a discounted rate. There is a limit of six bulbs per person.

Featuring almost 40 environmental vendors demonstrating the latest earth-friendly products and services, Kyocera's Earth Expo is free to the public in celebration of 2013 Earth Day. Located at Kyocera International's headquarters, the 25 Solar Trees™ fuse function, aesthetics and sustainability, providing shade for 186 cars while drawing approximately 421,000 kWh of power production from San Diego's abundant sunshine each year.
