We’re proud of the commitment to the community our employees show every day on and off the job. We team with our employees to urge them to give back through three programs:
The Sempra Employee Giving Network is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization run by and for the employees of Sempra Energy. Through our Giving Network, our employees can make direct contributions to any nonprofit group through payroll withholdings.
To encourage giving back to the community, our Matching Gifts Program matches employees’ gifts dollar for dollar for donations to educational institutions, as well as to groups focused on the arts and culture.
Additionally, we support our employees’ contributions of time and talent to nonprofit groups through our Volunteer Incentive Program (VIP) and Season of Giving Programs. Employees who volunteer at least 10 hours for a charity or a school may request a grant from the Sempra Energy Foundation to that charity or school.
