Save Energy and Save Money

The energy use collected by smart meters will help customers understand energy use habits and the best ways to save.  Later this year, customers will be able to view their energy usage information through the Internet. Knowing how much energy is used on a daily basis can provide customers a better way to manage energy use and save money. “Industry research has shown that more current energy use information helps customers save energy and money, while preserving natural resources,” says Ted Reguly, Director of the Smart Meter Program.

To prepare, customers can sign up for My Account, SDG&E’s personalized online account management service. Visit sdge.com/myaccount and have an SDG&E bill handy.
