ATM, Debit Card, Credit Card or Electronic Check Payments You can use most ATM cards, debit cards, MasterCard® credit cards and electronic checks to pay your SDG&E bill. These payment options are offered through Bill Matrix.* , an independent service provider. (Debit and ATM bank cards must participate in STAR point-of-sale, PULSE, NYCE or ACCEL networks).
While SDG&E does not charge for this service, Bill Matrix.* does
charge a convenience fee of $1.50 for each payment transaction.
To make your payment online through BillMatrix, visit the Bill Matrix website.* To make a payment by phone, call BillMatrix’s automated system at 1-800-386-0067 to make a payment in English or Spanish at any time. If you would like more information, call BillMatrix's customer service department at 1-866-405-1930 Monday through Friday from 5:30 am - 6:00 pm (PST).
Home Banking
If you pay all of your bills at an online payment site such as a bank, credit union, brokerage firm or other financial institution, you may now be able to receive your bill from SDG&E electronically. To find out if your financial institution offers e-bills from SDG&E, visit CheckFree's e-bill site.*
