Our commitment is to make a meaningful impact and improve the quality of life and our environment in the communities we serve through our employee volunteerism and philanthropic support of non-profit organizations.

Through our corporate giving program, we support and partner with hundreds of community-based non-profit organizations in San Diego and south Orange Counties whose programs impact underserved communities to:

• Develop environmental champions who are informed and engaged in climate change and clean transportation solutions
• Develop public safety programs that encourage emergency preparedness, response and recovery plans, and strive for resilience during emergencies and disasters
• Inspire future leaders to develop the next generation of innovative, diverse and talented members of the community to drive economic growth and success

SDG&E provides support to these non-profit partners through shareholder contributions employee giving programs, volunteerism, and through connecting our thriving non-profit community with energy efficiency, customer assistance, and other energy saving programs.

More than two-thirds of our giving helps underserved populations, including diverse ethnic groups, people with disabilities, and low-income families.
