Please make sure you review the Funding Guidelines page prior to applying for funding.
Organizations can apply for a grant any time through out the year as we review proposals all year long.
Although organizations can make unlimited grant requests, only one grant request will be awarded for each qualifying organization per year.
Please ensure you have a valid non-profit Tax ID number before beginning the application, as it will be validated through the IRS database. Additionally, please ensure the address submitted with your application matches the address on file with the IRS.
Upon submitting your application, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number.
Applications are reviewed continuously throughout the year. Generally, the timeline to review and assess each application may take up to 8 weeks.
If you have supplemental application documents that you would like considered, they can be uploaded on the last page of the online application.
Grant requests are only accepted online, so any requests made via other methods will not be accepted.
Please apply for what your organization feels it needs for the program or event. San Diego Gas and Electric will ultimately decide the grant amount based on the content of the application and other internal/external factors.
