How easy is it to get started?

Earn monthly bill credits by proposing your own power reduction levels. As a Base Interruptible Program participant you will be called on to reduce your energy consumption on days when electric supplies are expected to be low.

You decide how much energy to reduce, and we’ll provide you with monthly bill credits up to $7 per kilowatt (kW). If no load reduction actually takes place, you’ll still earn the credit.

Quick Energy-Saving Tips

Saving energy can be as simple as:

• Raising your central A/C’s thermostat setting four to six degrees.
• Running major appliances before 11 a.m. or after 6 p.m.
• Unplugging chargers and power strips.
• Turning off the pool pump between 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.
