Federal legislation extends Daylight Saving Time several weeks in the spring and one week in the fall. For 2013, Daylight Saving Time starts on the second Sunday in March (March 10) and ends on the first Sunday in November (November 3).
So that you’re billed the appropriate rates for energy usage during the additional weeks of Daylight Saving Time, the time periods for electric time-of-use rates will begin and end one hour later.
Open to the public, this is a unique opportunity to see how technology is influencing the world of renewable energy, green building and energy efficiency. We’ll be giving tours of the building, as well as live cooking presentations from our Food Service Demonstration Kitchen. And you’ll get an inside look at our Smart Home, our model “Home of the Future."
When: Wednesday, January 18th 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Where: Energy Innovation Center 4760 Clairemont Mesa Boulevard (in the Diane Shopping Center) San Diego, CA 92117
