Depending on how you use energy and your connected load, Time-of-Use billing may be optional or mandatory.

I am on a Time-of-Use rate. What holidays are considered off-peak?

New Year's Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans' Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day are considered off-peak.

When any holiday listed above falls on Sunday, the following Monday will be recognized as an off-peak period. No change in the off-peak period will be made for holidays falling on Saturday.

SDG&E can assist you with energy management information over the phone, through an on-site energy audit, helpful fact sheets and brochures. Some customers may also qualify for one of our incentive programs.
