Ways for You to Save on Energy-Efficient Lighting
Look for ENERGY STAR® qualifying products with the SDG&E sticker at your favorite retailer.

Please make sure to recycle your CFLs properly.
Energy-Saving Lighting Fairs
In April 2013, we launched our Lighting Fairs at various community locations. At these Lighting Fairs, we demonstrate energy-efficient lighting and educate you on lumens vs. wattage, color temperature, the "Lighting Facts" label and more. In addition, these events offer you an opportunity to purchase products at a discounted rate.
Though no Lighting Fairs are currently scheduled, please check back as dates are added throughout the year.
If you are interested in hosting a private Lighting Fair at your workplace, please contact Dani Heise at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Energy-Efficiency Lighting Product Demonstrations
We hold Lighting Product Demonstrations at local retailers, such as Home Depot, Lowes and Ace Hardware, to show you the latest lighting technologies. These events give you an opportunity to "touch and feel" the products, and get answers to your questions about energy-efficient lighting solutions. Our staff members also can show you where to find discounted lighting products in the store.
Energy Savings Assistance Program
Before you buy new lighting, see if you qualify for the Energy Savings Assistance Program. Participants may receive new lighting and other energy-efficient appliances and services for free.
